I am gearing up to head back to BC for 2 weeks... I am pretty excited to visit everyone and hang out at home for a bit! Ben and I leave on the 7th and come back to CT on the 21st. It feels like time is moving really quickly right now. After we get back to CT Ben and I are headed to a wedding in Washington for the first weekend in May and then off to Salt Lake to workout for a week or so and then off to Phoenix.
I bought a heart rate monitor in hopes of reducing my "overtraining" I love it, I burned 1100 calories in my bball/weight workout today! Speaking of overtraining I have been going really hard and have been experiencing a lot of pain in my heel (not my ankle bursitis on my left foot) so I have to get that cleared up soon.
My tooth has stayed in place although I do have to cut up my english muffins and sandwiches before eating and it is constantly on my mind so while it is a pain in my butt I am counting my blessings that it is in place!

So many I lost count....

Working out today with Ben I was just getting warm shooting some lay ups working on finishing shots with someone in front of me. We do this drill a few times a week I have never been hit in the face area until today when I somehow managed to jump into him and come down with a broken tooth!! Yes I have managed to do this an impressive 4th time. The tooth kind of went backward and was a few inches lower than normal. Thankfully I had just called a dentist for an appt so I sort of had an in with a dentist in CT. They pulled the tooth and I headed to an endodontist across town; tooth in a little plastic baggy and feeling like white trash. The endodontist examined it and decided it would be safest to wait 3-4 weeks to be sure there was no damage to the root. This resulted in him taking my tooth from my plastic baggy grabbing some dental glue and putting it back in my mouth. There was no damage to the front of the tooth just a chunk missing from the back. He filled it all in with a little glue and after giving me a demo on how to floss my tooth warned me that it "will most likely fall out a few times... the glue is not that strong!" His tip if in a pinch just use a small amount of sugarless chewing gum and paste it to the back of my tooth I don't really want to express what is going on in my mind at this moment! We went straight to the grocery store where I promptly picked up some fixodent and plan on keeping this with me at all times in case my tooth just pops out!

Hopefully Phoenix has a a good team dentist because I will be spending some time there when I get into town!

Phoenix bound!

I have been traded! I found out today that I am headed to Phoenix I didn't check my phone all day and found out through a friends email on facebook! I am pretty excited in the sense that I did not have a good chance to make the Sacramento team and while it will still be incredibly tough to make Phoenix I feel a like I have a shot! I will miss everyone in Sacramento we had a really fun team last year but I am embracing a new opportunity!

I have not been up to a whole lot lately I go work out and then watch basketball games all night... this time of year is so much fun. The Utah men and women both won conference tourneys and are dancing!
I booked my flight home, Ben is coming with me and we get in on April 7th and leave on the 21st. I can not wait to come home see everyone.

We are back from Florida, we got in late last night. It was a fun trip, the weather was amazing mid 80s the whole time! I got to do some pool workouts outside went for an outdoor run. We went to two spring training baseball games which were a lot of fun the first one we sat on the grass and laid out. That was great because I could stretch out which was essential seeing as though we arrived to see batting practices 2.5 hours before the game began. Baseball games last about 3 hours so it was a long day at the ball park! We also went to a junior A hockey game which surprisingly drew quite a crowd in Florida! We went to the beach one day and other than that we relaxed and hung out with Ben's parents and hit up the gym.
Here are a few pics of the ball park... I still need a new camera so I don't really take many pictures.

Ben did get an ear infection and had to go to the clinic to find out that while this normally only affects babies and very young children adults can sometimes get it. He was in some pain and you have to yell at him if you want him to hear anything. Hoping it clears up soon.

officially cleared...

I met with an ortho surgeon today and got the clean bill of health. He just sort of rubbed the scar and moved my ankle back and forth and deemed cleared to play 5 on 5. While I still have pain in the ankle some days he said it could be due to the arthritis but said normally after 6 months everything starts to feel normal again! It was great to get a clean bill of health although it does mean no more cheques...

Heading to Florida tomorrow kind of excited to get out of this weather will be going from 20F to 80F!
